I know it is probably obvious, but I have heard that the in-store pregnancy tests can turn out to be the wrong result even though they say over 99% accurate. My friend took one yesterday afternoon, then another one last night and both were positive. She is going to the clinic today to make sure, but how is what they are going to do any different? I did take a test at planned parenthood before and it looked like the same one I could buy in the store. But yeah, I was just wondering if anyone knew information about this. Thanks a lot..I'm trying to do my homework but can't concentrate! haha

More than likely she is pregnant. Planned parenthood (and most health departments) do use the regular pregnancy tests. Of course once she sees a doctor they will do a pelvic exam and can tell her for sure that she is pregnant by the size of her uterus. Hope this helps, Good Luck, your friend is going to need you right now (assuming that she is pregnant).

If she's come back with two positive tests, she's pregnant. The only wrong results I've ever heard of were false negatives. The ones at the clinic ARE the same as the ones at the drug store.

that's adverse. She's in hassle-free terms 13?! besides the incontrovertible fact that, whether she did no longer use risk-free practices, her threat is greater advantageous. Her threat is nevertheless a gamble of having pregnant. She needs to the two give up having intercourse or use risk-free practices. She's too youthful to alter right into a mom at her age. wish this facilitates! attempt and have a communication together with her (:

youre friend is pregnant. it is very rare to get a false positive, let alone 2. all you can do now is be someone that she can talk to, and help her through all her emotions. it'll be hard for her, especially if the dad doesnt want anything to do with the kid... my boyfriend (now my husband) wanted everything to do with me and the baby... but we knew we were getting married before i was even pregnant. im only 17, but now we're married, have everything we could possibly need for her, and are expecting her in just a few weeks. tell her that everything happens for a reason. she has a lot of options. help her through her decision making, but dont tell her what to do. this is totally up to her. its very personal. Good luck and God bless you guys.
