Who is interested about my story and experiences of escaping from communist Vietnam?

Question

I escaped from Vietnam in 1980 (at the age of 12)by boat, three attempts, made it out and now reside in California. The story about my journey and experiences of escaping needs to be written so that it could be shared with others and generations of vietnames American. If there is anyone who is interested in my story and would like to write about it then please contact me. I would like to have this story be made into a movie. Thanks....

Your plight is probably not too different from most of my Vietnamese relatives in America. Most all of them have incredible stories of their struggles escaping communist Vietnam before, during and after you had left. The more interesting plights are of my grandparents and older uncles who had escaped North Vietnam after the 1954 Geneva Accords. Ho Chi Minh had put a bounty on my Grandfather's head for his return dead or alive..

Your story would find the most interest in the Vietnamese communities of America, Australia and France. The American general public would find this interesting as well, but many would rather not hear about such plights because Americans in general seem to want to forget about that war and it's aftermath.

You should start a blog and start posting your stories. That's the best and cheapest way to find any interest in your stories.

I'm sure it would mean a lot to many Americans to hear such a story. I'm very much interested in hearing it. But keep in mind that the processes of writing a book and making a movie ... take a long time, and sometimes don't pan out at all.

It would make a good movie. Unfortunatley they will embellish a lot and chang everything. I would write a book first and then do the movie thing.

i had to hear about the viet nam war everyday when i was in the air force 1965 til 1969...its boring then and i still think this war is boring..but that just me..go write a book...someone will buy these type of novels..good luck and welcome to the real world.
