Well, let's see.
3 liters of air is equivalent to 3,000 mL of air.
Now take 2/10 of that.

First multiply 3000 by 2, and then divide by 10.
So you get (3000 * 2) / 10
Which equals 6000 / 10
= 600 mL

And that's your final answer.

3 liters = 3000 milliliters

2/10 of 3 liters of air is oxygen

So the Amount oxygen in milliliters = 2/10 * 3000

=1/5*3000
= 3000/5
= 600 milliliters

Are you satisfied

Well I am no math whiz but it seems like if you reduce 2/10 to 1/5 and convert 3 liters to 3000 milliliters, along with dividing 3000 by the 5 from the 1/5th, you come up with 600 milliliters oxygen. I hope that helps.

600 m/l or .6 liters. its really not that hard...all its doing is making you move decimal points so instead of finding out how many m/l out of L there are, make them both into m/l. you have to have the same unit of measure to effectivly and easily solve a problem like this. but here is something that might be helpful to remember...liters=1 centiliters=.1 milliliters=.01 and so on. so the problem would look something like this...3l=3000m/l. 3000x1/5=3000/5=600ml

2/10 means the same thing as 0.2.

so there is 0.2 x 3 liters = .6 liters of oxygen

a milliliter is a thousanth of a liter. That is, there are 1000 milliliters in a liter....

0.6 x 1000 milliliters is 600 milliliters.

3 liters of air is equivalent to 3000ml of air, as 1000ml is equivalent to one liter (as milli mean one thousandth). As 2/10 of this is oxygen then the number of millilitres of oxygen in air is 3000 * 2/10 = 600ml.
