I am going to be installing DSL in my home. I don't have any phone jacks to spare for connecting the modem, so I am going to be using a splitter so I can have both the phone and the modem connected. My question is how to I go about installing the DSL filter on this phone jack? Do I just put it on the plug that the phone connects to on the splitter? I am sorry if this seems like a stupid question. I have never done this before and I can't seem to find the answer any where else. Thank you.

Sorry for the double positioned up, yet Yahoo replaced DSL to DAL with the spell examine. i'm no longer completely valuable of what kit you have, yet i'm going to make 2 recommendations. you may have a filter out/splitter blend out of your DSL filter out, it has a quick telephone twine on it and a pair of woman connections. One area says Line(telephone) and the different area says DSL or DSL/HP NA. in case you have that, then connect the twine on your telephone jack interior the wall and connect the DSL to the DSL area. in no way connect something different than the DSL line on your modem on the DSL fringe of a filter out/splitter. Then connect your dish receiver into the line(telephone) fringe of the filter out/splitter. additionally, the Ethernet line is going on your workstation basically. It is going from the DSL modem to the workstation. in case you have not got a blend filter out/splitter or you're utilising it in a diverse jack, and you have a filter out with a million connection on it and a 2 way splitter, then connect the two way splitter interior the wall jack, then positioned the filter out in a single fringe of the two way splitter and connect the dish receiver to the filter out, then connect the DSL line into the different area, the non-filtered fringe of the two way filter out.
