Need help with an intro? Please?

Hello. Well, I'm writing this essay about how people struggle to do the right thing in a daily basis. And I need to connect this to the book Witness by Karen Hesse if possible. Or you can connect it to basically the civil rights movement, when the klan comes in and terrorizes.

do you already have the body of your essay? if not, when i was in college my eng prof's had the class write the body before the intro. it didnt make sense to me at first, but it came a lot easier when i did it that way
