Good question. Today there are more jobs directly out of college offered to those with computer science background than for the mathematics background. However, if you look around you will find there are still numerous opportunities for someone with a math degree. I would consider opportunities as an officer in either the Air Force or the Navy, with the aerospace industry, or with think tanks and contractors supporting the defense industry. I would say you should make sure you have Statistics, differential equations, vector and tensor analysis, transforms (Laplace and Fourier), and perhaps even some number theory. Combine this with machine language, fortran, and C++ and you should have no trouble whatsoever in finding a job you will enjoy and be able to contribute to.

Computer programmer...big demand.
Any technical, numbers crunching job. Not finance, business, or economics. Something like data analysis, using statistics to infer trends, likelihoods, hypotheses, etc.
