Aside from Israel, we don't have any friends in the middle east. Even Saudi Arabia, with the warmest relationship with us, merely pays lip-service to us while placating the religious fanatics in their own country. Personally, I don't know why people care what other countries think of us anyway. When you were in high school, did you have one of those guys who was captain of the football team, a straight A student, and was banging cheerleaders like they were rubber sex dolls? In the eyes of the world, that's us. We kick *** at everything we do, and everyone else hates us. Not for what we do, but for how well we do it.

Actually many countries are starting to make steps (although small ones) toward democracy on local levels. Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, and Jordan are starting to do this. We're not talking about total change in government styles, but it's a start.

sure. whether I see this as a Bush failure, not usa, it is self. Intelligence replace into defective, thoughts have been intense and individuals have been tricked into allowing it to take place. because of the fact of Bush's lust for conflict with Iraq, hundreds of hundreds of harmless lives have been lost, usa is not safer and the conflict keeps to alter into extra embroiled and bloody. we could get out now.

I am not sure their opinion counts. The fact is that 80% of Iraqis are glad the US got rid of Saddam. The opinion of the Iraqis is more important than the opinion of anyone else.

The ONLY friendly ME nation is Israel and they are going along with the US on this one. I know some would say the Pakistan is friendly but their actions and lack of help says otherwise.

Which are you considering friendly? Even the one's we consider friendly are questionable. Kuwait is the only one I can think of that may actually like us. And I'm sure they are happy. Considering their past relationship with Sadam.
