I have read that it is actually safer to pay online. Do you think something like billpay at your bank is best or just going to the biller's site?

I pay all of my regular bills online (mortgage, car, utilities). The only time I write a check if I need to send someone a check for a one time payment. Paying online is just as safe as writing a check or even safer! When you write a check, that person now has your checking account number but with online payments from the bank, none of your financial info is known to the person you paid.

I definitely use online billing- I also constantly forget to pay my verizon bill and my cable bill- so I get a reminder sent to my email and it helps me remember. The bills that I can't pay online I have it set up so the money gets taken out of my account automatically every month. No late fees for me

I pay 80-90% of my bills online and have never had any problems.

I find it funny that people who don't pay bills or buy stuff online for fear of security breaches have no problem either sending a check in the mail or paying with a credit card at the store or when they are eating out. Mail gets broken into all the time, and anyone can copy down a credit card number at a place of business to use in the future!

90% Out of all my bills that I have I pay as many online as I can. I just go to the companies site and make the payment instead through my bank. Its so easy this way.

100 % online and I pay them at the biller's site to avoid paying a fee at the bank for the service.

It's safer, no fear of losing the payment in the mail.

Roughly 90% of both personal and business bills. Love how easy and quick it is.

I have not had any security issues to date and am willing to to use the system to save as much time and paper as we can. I refuse to let paranoia keep me from using it. Now if somebody hacks in to my accounts like has happened to others I might change my tune.

We don't pay any on line. We heard on the tv news that it is not safe. And sure enough, my grandsons' wife tried it and someone hacked into her account and had every penny withdrawn. She went to her bank and got it back but, we fill it is safer to just mail the payments.

I pay about 80% of my bills online.
For some, I use www.checkfree.com (for utilities, etc) and for others (credit cards), I just use their websites. Mortgage, that goes to their website, too.

LOVE paying stuff online! LOVE IT!
