first do your research.we retired to cyprus but with hindsight we would have done a lot of things differently. we shipped our 4x4 and wished we hadnt.we ended up shipping it back.we also would not have bought an apartment on a complex,we would have rented first and then looked for a resale property in a neighbourhood.
having said that,cyprus is a lovely country,the people are lovely(other than developers !!) and the cost of living is much cheaper than uk.you do need money here to really enjoy life so do your sums.

Hi, I dont know much about retiring in Cyprus but how lucky are you!!!!! wish it was me. There are a lot of ex pat's in Cyprus and i know in Larnaca there is a club on the sea front where all the ex pat's go, its near the pier and it looks like a roof top club, you cant miss it Good Luck, Happy Retirement.

You need advice about what exacly ?
There are many british retiring here. Most of the buy a house close to the seaside.
