ive recently got in contact with an old school friend. i havent seen this person for years. she has told me that she graduated from a nursing and midwifery college, with a degree in 2000. she then trained as a paediatric nurse and is now a qualified midwife. the thing, is we fell out years ago, be cause she lied so much. i dont know if shes telling the truth now or not. i know its not nice to do, but how can i find out if she attended tis college or not, is there anyway i can track down past student names.

What difference would it make if she was lying again?
If she IS lying, then obviously she does not intend to form a very close friendship with you.
Meet up with her. If you find out you enjoy spending time with her, THEN you can think about whether she told you the truth or not. But for now, leave it be.

Are you really bothered about being friends with her again? You remember what she was like before and now you are wondering again if she is indeed lying to you. You either have to take her and her stories if indeed made up or maybe true with out question and let them all slide off your back, or avoid her all together forever more. Good luck!? xx

Y do you care?
If the lie is harmless then just know that you know. If she's that insecure then not too sure she would make a great friend anyway.
You should never have to police your friends.

Maybe go round and ask to see the certficates, just to see how they look like, not that you dont trust her.
