Why do people get back with their exes even though they are in love with their ex? I thought there is a reason why they broke up with their ex. Once an ex, always an ex is my rule no matter how deep in love I was with my ex. and always, once an ex friend, always an ex friend also. Why do the ex friend would like to be friends again even though he did some horrendous act?

It depends on so many factors it's hard to explain it.
We're talking about people and their emotions not a science.

It must be that they miss their ex's. Stick with your rule and once an ex always an ex.

sometimes, people break-up because of distance and lack of faith in their relationship...But when they realize that nothing has changed, and no feelings have faded, they rethink, regroup, and rehitch. Another case may be...they thought they could find something even better, but they realized they had the best...take into consideration every relationship does not end on a bad note!

hello daft people are able to change sometime they do during a break up as far as girl friends go I do it your way but friends I always give them a seacond chance

Many people are weak and, face it, don't have much going for them anyway. If they can be happy for a night then that's what they'll take.
