Actually, it varies, based on the member conference, and/or home team. The university of Maryland, Duke, FSU, UVa and North Carolina, are in the ACC, however they use Nike basketballs (with the home team logo) stamped in gold leaf, because they are sponsored by the Nike Corp. When these teams play against other conference teams(who do not have Nike contracts), such as NC State (Adidas), the choice of ball then relys on the specific home team's contract, OR the company of choice, as determined by the member conference (ACC, Big Ten, Big East, etc).
