Why do people get back with their exes even though they are in love with their ex? I thought there is a reason why they broke up with their ex. Once an ex, always an ex is my rule no matter how deep in love I was with my ex.

Well sometimes, people say things out of anger that they didnt mean.. they may get so mad to say thats it its over, and after awhile they realize that they were only angry at the time, that they really didnt want to leave that person..

Now if they did something way over the line, like say cheated, abused etc, then i cant see why they would risk it to go through the same heart ache again...

You have your rule, so why are you so curious about it. Just stick to your rule, and let people forgive, and let them learn that some times a break up is just really something in the heat of battle. Battles happen even if the relationship is healthy. Or do you have a rule about no battles. Do you get rid of your car if it has a mechanical problem, then get a new one that has even more problems , then find a new one and so on and so on and so on. SOME RULE

Sometimes people realize the reason they left was stupid. (made a mountain out of a mole hill)....or...they settle for what's familiar, thinking they're too old or tired to start over.
I do know this....If you're not willing to give and take your fair share in the relationship...it's bound to fail........... A rose garden does'nt come into bloom without proper care.

Once an ex?.....
It's more like: "Once a cheater, always a cheater." (that's what makes them an ex)

It seems like a crazy idea to go back to someone that you split up with before.
Usually when two people split things are at a point where it's over anyway. I agree once you leave there's no reason to go back.Maybe it's because they are to lazy to find someone new or to afraid of being rejected.

Unresolved issues, not ready to let go and move on. They love the drama and heartache would be my guess.

Sometimes people can resolve their problems and work things out. What's wrong with that?

We work with divorcing couples and we hope they can resolve their differences and reconcile, especially if kids are involved!
