War Should be handed over to the military and in their complete control .
They should be separate from the president except for when to start and when to end .
SO yes Bush bungled this war .

You are only as good as the people that dont support you. In this case Democrats. I feel that this war would be over by now with less casualties and Mr. Bush would be a hero had it not been for the dickless flip flopping power hungry Democrats.

I don't think it was just Bush - it's the congress too. OK - everyone agreed that Iraq was a threat, and we needed to go to war. Why is no one saying that congress screwed up? They are all coming back now and saying it was a mistake - apologizing makes it excusable? I don't think so. You can't just admit it was a mistake and then sit back and wait for someone else to figure out how to fix the mistake.

People always say "Bush screwed it up..." as if he were the only one involved in the decision! Do you not realize that he made a decision based on information that he was given??
