You guys are jumping the shark a little bit don't you think? And to think the Cubs are going to go anywhere, ha. Nothing wrong with over sized dreams. I'm a Royals fan so I can understand. But I hate to say it the Yankees always have the best shot @ the beginning of the season out of the AL. And the Mets have a decent shot out of the NL, the problem with the Mets is their pitching. But there are always deals done in July. When it comes down to it though what really wins in the post season is pitching so you have to look @ the Red Sox for the AL, especially if Clemens goes there. And the Cardinals have a good chance to repeat if their staff stays healthy seeing how all the GM's in the NL are idiots and no one decided to try and hire on more than one ace per staff. So as of February 24 2007 I'd say Boston Red Sox and St. Louis Cardinals are the faves for the world series this year. But it's only Feb and spring training really hasn't started yet so lest us wait and see till mid August who the favourites will be then.

I see the 2007 World Series being between the Detroit Tigers of the American League and the Chicago Cubs of the National League and I see the Cubs winning the World Series and their first championship in 99 years.

I'm gonna say the Phils. They are even starting to talk like they believe in themselves. That is a very powerful tool. Not to mention they'll lead the league in runs scored again, have the deepest rotation and 3 of the best players in the league. Helms, Burrell and victorino... Just kidding. I mean Utley, Howard and Rollins.

St. Louis over the Red Sox 4-2. Note to Cubs fans, you'll be lucky to finish as high as third in the Division. It's the Cubs for chrissakes. They haven't won anything in a century.

The Yankees are always a favorite at the beginning of the season. The addition of Pettite and Igawa and with a Pavano back their pitching staff looks pretty good and they always have the offense
