How do you know if your a Liberal thinker, here's one test, what do you think?

You maybe a Liberal if: You favor a Gay Pride Parade with Drag-Queens dancing in all types of weird sexually
oriented poistions in front of small children and you believe this should be constitutionally Protected..ALL done on PUBLIC streets and property.

however........

you are OUTRAGED at a manger scene depicting the baby Jesus on Public property

if you think like this...you are liberal!

I have no objection to either.

I presume the following to be true:

Parents who do not want their children to see drag queens, won't take them to the parade.

The public property can also be used for the symbols of other faiths, such as Judaism, Wicca and Islam -- when appropriate for their holidays.

I lived in NYC for a long time -- that was pretty much how things worked there, and you know something, it worked out fine. We had Manger scenes and Menorrahs on the same property at different times.

If one is banned, on the religious issue, then all should be banned of course, but why should any be banned?

On the other issue, it seems to me that everyone parades or marches. The fundamentalists marched in Washington, shortly after the Women's rights people did. We have nearly 200 parades, marches, and festivals (going back to NYC) -- having been to many of them, I'm pretty sure several others have things that you would find pretty offensive too.

Or is it that you don't want to take the time to police your own children, and want the government to do it for you?

Unfortunately you Americans suck at politics (like in everything else tbh). You dont get the meaning of being a Liberal or a Conservative, you just see the main headers each of the of them has and if you "think" you agree with it then you become a strong supporter. There is more than gays, religion and war in this world. Hundreds of social issues that you need to solve and all you care about is theories and values. I really pitty you, I honestly dont hate American people. I just feel bad to see you rot like this from the inside, being totaly controled yet feeling you are "free", and having the same level of religious mentality with the Africans, who at least have an excuse to be like this.

That is poor thinking and a logical fallacy. You should consider that there is much more to liberals and Conservatives then this kind of thinking will allow you to see.
I see basically what you are talking about. But to you should seek to understand the other side better, this will empower you to point out the lack of logic that their side has.

I don't find either of these scenarios unacceptable....I find the evening news about people killing each other to be immoral. I still consider myself a liberal...Sex is a normal natural occurrence..children shouldn't grow up feeling that it is wrong...they should however grow up believing violence is not to be tolerated.. hey also should grow up accepting that other people have different religions and belief systems.
