It is still a possibility (they have shocked everyone before) but the odds are greatly against them. They were sub par without Shaq but D-Wade was basically their everything and Shaq is getting older so I think that its not there year.

I think the Miami Heat will benefit from the injury. Shaq will have the opportunity to take more games off for next season, and the Heat will drop in the standings right into the lottery where the draft class is strong. This will help them get younger since this is an aging team. Dorrell Wright will get to play more, and he will contribute greatly to a title run in the 2008 season.

They are done. Shaq might as well go home for the season. They were a long shot before injury and have no chance without him. Detroit wins Eastern Conference. Dallas wins Western Conference. Dallas wins finals. I BELIEVE!!!!!!

They are all but finished. They are losing 29 points a game and 8 assists per game. Without the playmaker their offense consists of no one that can get to the hole and make an easy deuce.

Sucks that it happened right after the trade dead line passed.....but its easier to make the playoffs in the Eastern conference.
But they are done................. I didn't think they would make the finals this year anyway- Pistons are better than the previous years since they got rid of Ben and picked up C.Webb
Pistons vs Mavericks in finals

They might have a chance to get in the playoffs if their bench players step up in games.
