Nowadays I find in Banking sector (particularly in Nationalised banks and major banks) , remuneration is not adequate considering their hours of hard work, experience and qualification) while their newly graduated sons / daughters / younger brothers/ sisters particularly engineering / software professional get nowadays.
In India Government is not looking into the salary structure of people , no uniformity, no gradation and no control.
Particularly adequate attention is not being given to low paid workers who are also having family, children to study , elders who need medical attention.

A welfare oriented government should consider these aspects of welfare of everyone.

Depends upon your qualification and experience.

The starting packages can be a bit low but there is a definite scope for growth specially in MNC banks. Even I am working in a MNC bank.
