maybe you're more into one-on-one or smaller group interactions. try hanging out with your best bud/s in smaller circles and do things you enjy together. life is too short to be wasted away.

sometimes you just have to make it a point. personally i was the most shy girl ever and i eventually just wanted to push it aside. try small like a few people you feel the most comfortable with. or go to school events with people from school and hang out that way and it can open a door for more hang outs.

Hey Jake,

It's difficult to put yourself out there, but sometimes you have to initiate getting together. Invite a bunch of people to a movie, bowling, go-carting...anything. Don't feel self-conscious about making invitations. Everyone else is wishing they had the balls! Good luck...

If it's going to be stressful going out somewhere, just start off by hanging out with one friend, then two friends, and sooner or later someone will start making suggestions about where to go and what to do.

Just hang in there and be cool!
