This study was done last summer by The Media Research Center.

1. CNN and MSNBC, for example, focused extensively on allegations of misconduct by U.S. forces in Iraq.

Reports about allegations of misconduct:
12 Reports by Fox News
59 Reports by CNN
36 Reports by MSNBC

2. FNC Devoted More Time to Covering U.S. Achievements: While CNN and MSNBC emphasized the negative news out of Iraq

Reports about achievements:
81 Reports by Fox News
41 Reports by CNN
47 Reports by MSNBC

Do people that hate Fox News really just hate the fact that they don't dwell on negative news like other cable news channels?

What choice do we have?
The media sucks.
The 4Th estate is a mess.
What ever happened to reporting the news without editorials?
What about the facts without human conjecture?
I do not want these dumb f ***s opinions.
What do they know?
What am I supposed to see in their faces?
Ignorance.
Terrorism must love this stupid asinine media and Christians without doctrine!!!
Christians have failed miserably.
There will come a time when the Holy war will be fought in this country.
Are you ready?
Do not let the media lead you astray.
The terrorist build up their armies.
They are not going away.
I saw on fox news today that a psychic has been enlisted to find Bin Laden and weapons of mass destruction. Seriously.
There is a greater power to depend on then demons though.
Christians have the power to defeat the enemies GREAT armies.
Believe me, the enemy is militarily prepared for battle.
How about US?
Do you think that we will win this war?
The media sucks.
Peace out.

I wouldn't say that Americans are "informed" by Fox News, because Fox News does not impart much information. It concentrates on the opinions of its show hosts, with a few exceptions (Greta van Susteran, Shepherd Smith, Britt Hume - sorry if I mis-spelled their names, can't be bothered to look them up).

Bill O'Reilly freely admits his show (which is the number one show on Fox) is entirely modelled around his personal opinion, and that I can laud him for, except I would add he appears to spend as much time plugging his book as espousing his opinions!

Here's what I'd like to see out of Fox News, and I don't think it's asking too much. Less celebrity gossip-type coverage. I just don't consider celeb stuff like the Donald Trump-Rosie O'Donnell war of wills/words that Fox is absolutely fixated on, "news". Also, less coverage of old stories like that girl who went missing in Aruba. I mean, Fox is STILL covering that one, when there are lots more "newsworthy" things that have been going on in the world, even America, probably even that girls' little home town, since! That's not "news", that's "olds"! I'd like to see more balance in interviews and discussions. There is no "balance" in an interview where the questioner does all the talking (see: Sean Hannity). I enjoy watching Britt (sic?) Hume's panel show because even though the panellists all have a conservative bent (and none of us can deny that Fox is firmly conservative and liberal viewpoints get no real hearing), they are smart, articulate, have interesting things to say and ARE ALLOWED TO SPEAK.

I'd like to see a better expansion of their news stories. 5 seconds on 100 news stories from around the world is not informative, it's just a blur.

I also don't think Fox does itself many favors by hiring people like Mark Furman as "experts". I mean, what has Mark Furman accomplished other than being an L.A. cop who blew the prosecution's case in the O.J. Simpson trial? There are lots of conservative law enforcement officials and jurists who are much better qualified to speak on law and order matters than Mr Furman, IMHO. And Oliver North, the disgraced colonel who killed nuns in Central America while selling arms to Tehran? What kind of a role model is he? There are lots of better qualified conservative military men who could explain to Fox's civilian viewers about military matters.

By hiring disgraced "celebrities" instead of non-disgraced experts that are not household names, Fox denigrates itself, I think.

NO. 1 NEWS CHANNEL

Ratings higher than NBC, ABC and CBS combined. It's called the "Silent Majority". Now you know why Republicans have owned the White House for 28 of the last 40 years.

Speaking of which, I watched Olbermann last night for as long as I could stand watching the Jesus-hater and all he talked about was Bill O'Reilly. Olbermann is like a stalker.

O'Reilly's ratings are 6 times higher. It's a wonder Uncle Olbie even has a job. He spends way too much time talking about 20 year old YouTube girls too. I'd love to search the C drive of that perv's home computer. I bet the FBI wouldn't mind either.

Pwned!

Abu gives us more evidence of faux news skewing the news. Allowing the lemmings to deny the civil war bush created in Iraq, etc.

No wonder the Faux News fools are so easily defeated in debates.

They have no concept of reality. They constantly confuse spin with fact.

Yes. The slack-jawed, droopy-eyed, drool-chinned faces of FAIR and BALANCED news, as only Faux News can deliver.*

(* It's all Clinton's fault and to dispute that is to embolden the gay feminist terrorists who lie in wait in your backyard, ready to destroy America's most valuable institution, YOUR FAMILY!!)

(p.s: To say Fox News is the most credible news source because it's the # 1 news network is like saying "Porky's" was a better movie than "Citizen Kane" because more people watched it....huh-ZAH!)
