It's a wonderful testimony of people who loved Jesus Christ. I don't think a man of little education could have written it, I believe it, like the Bible, was inspired and teaches us of God's word.

I have a special friend who is (has been) a LDS bishop. He
gave me a copy of tthe Book of Mormon and subscription to the
Ensign magazine and church news. My imoression is that the
growth of LDS is testimony to the beauty of its concept and exe-
cution. Mike knows that I am non-proselytable (a word?) but he
loves me anyhow. Me? I claim to be Episcopalian, because it is
a church that doesn.t interfere with your religion. The Anglican
communion is trying to figure out what its "relgion" is.

When I read it first, my impression was that someone with a grade 3 education had tried to copy the KJV language and stick in stuff that he wanted in that language.
As I studied it more, I realized that it is an inaccurate book, anachronistic in so many ways that it can't be counted and devoid of archaeological or anthropological support.

There's a historical inaccuracy. It should have been called The Book of Moron. But being incorrigible Morons, they made a mistake.

Go figure.

You need to ask careful questions about its authenticity and where it came from. There seems to be no independant archeogical evidence regarding it's finding.

I think like every other fanatical religious business, it is a testimony of "my way or the highway!"
i.e. We're right and going to heaven, you are wrong and going to hell.
PS don't forget to give us 10% of your earnings!
Peace be with you.

It's true. Took me several years to figure that out, though.
