(1) Having Firefox as your default browser won't prevent you from *using* Internet Explorer - I use five or six browsers all the time, with Firefox as my default.

(2) If you *prefer* to have Internet Explorer as your *default* browser, then:
(a) In Firefox click Tools then Options then the General tab and "unclick" the "always check to see if Firefox is the default browser" and then...
(b) wander over to your Internet Explorer icon and click it and click Tools and Internet Options and Programs and where it says Default Browser click "Make Default".

(If you don't have an Internet Explorer icon then go to My Computer and find Program Files and then find Internet Explorer and then find iexplore.exe and double-click it to start it.)

you'll probably have to go back to Microsoft and down load Internet explorer again and use that as your primary browser. Presently I have internet explorer and firefox as two independent browzers but I didn't let fire fox be my home page or be my primary browzer. This may work it may not but its worth the try? Get back to me on it I would like to know just in case it happens to me>
