The tips of South America, Africa, and India are all facing south. The peninsula of Florida and Korea is facing south. How come?

You have just picked examples of South-facing peninsulas. All peninsulas on Antarctica face Northwards.

Take a look at maps of Western Europe, Cyprus and Australia and you'll find other examples.

There is no rhyme or reason. But I agree with those who say if you look closer..you'll see that this is not true. Try turning the map upside down, or just looking more closely. Perhaps because S. America really resembles an arrow so much it leads to bias. Look at the Yucatan Peninsula..
Also...look at Russia..they have northern coasts...they are just less important becuse they are frozen much of the year and fewer people live there.
