My Dad was a Nursing Home administrator while I was growing up. I learned at a very young age that Elderly people are an asset to their families as well as to their communities. They sometimes need assistance, but they have given much assistance through the years. They deserve Respect, Love and Appreciation.
My Dad fought in WW2, I have never done anything that could compare to that. I made a difference in my children's lives, the students that I had through the years, I took the time to teach values, and I try to make a difference in my Grandchildrens lives.

Yes. It is such a beautiful experience. The elderly have great wisdom, based on a lifetime of experience, and appreciate the opportunity to share it with future generations. The younger generations have greater physical strength, so are able to offer the elderly something in return. The mutual relationship strengthens the fabric of society.
