Learn from that mistake, and be grateful it did not destroy your marriage. He is just a fantasy now, keep him that way. If you are unhappy with your mate and how things are going, talk about it. Something needs fixing. Don't avoid the problems, they will not go away on their own. Going outside of the marriage to solve your marital problems, has never worked for anyone on this earth. Get to the bottom of whats going on. You have a partner who loves you, work on this together.

Well.. I've never been in your situation. Sounds like you basically violated the trust of your marriage vows regardless of whether you had any relations with this other person. Intent is still cheating.. You took away affection from your spouse and transferred it elsewhere. You need to focus on your marriage.

forget him like you would, a NIGHTMARE. ok?
dont worry, for sometime he will be on your mind, its the natural healing process at work. with time he will be completely EXORCISED, if you look for short cuts to supress his memory, the memory may come back at the smallest of signals like a snake rearing its head.
TIME IS A GRT HEALER. dnt worry. things will be fine.
be calm and peaceful.
try this easy meditation. take a pic of the god you believe in. light a candle in front of him daily, and say WITH ALL YOUR HEART, i forgive everyone including myself. i am not guilty, i am a pure spirit. i am one with god.
you can also try some other mind calming activities like yoga, sahajayoga(see the net, it will be there and perhaps they will have a centre in ur own city. ITS FREE) , REIKI etc.
forget the past, move on in life, dnt let your own emotions torture your soul...

It's just unfinished business. Get some closure by maybe writing him a long letter, putting it in an envelope and then put it in a drawer. Writing a journal helps get your thoughts out. It helped me when I went though a bad time.

if u are married than stop thinking about this other man, and just be happy with who u have. eventually u are going to destroy your marriage by thinking about this other man, obsessing about this other man will get u no where. find what is missing in your marriage, and try to fix it before its too late.
