Not at all, Buy him 2 (one for each hand). 23 is also a good age for playstation 3 and Hot Wheels. Entertain his wishes and get him the cube.

is this for you guy friend or your brother? well most men are to immature for the relationships with a real live women ...they prefer fantasy world of playboy and strip clubs and yes even Rubik's cubes..i think its OK for women to do this as any age at this would stimulate for the mind.

No, age has no bounderies when it comes to doing things that are a challenge. I am 63 and have been seriously thinking about getting one myself. My oldest son had one when he was a teen and I could never make it work like he could so I am still a Rubic's cube wannabe.
