Go to your start menu and click on My Computer. On the left hand side click on view system information. That will tell you about your pc.

For Windows: from the "Start" menu, go to "Accessories", then "System Tools", then "System Information".
For MacOS X: go to the "Applications" folder, then the "Utilities" folder inside that, then double-click on "System Profiler".
For Linux: Look at the "/proc" directory. Your kernel has all kinds of information about your system as little files, and simply read the file you're interested in: "cpuinfo" for processor specs, "memory" for RAM info, etc.

there's a free program called "Everest Home Edition" do a search for it download it and run it this program will tell you everything about your system by the way it doesn't have any of that adware or spyware and it's fully fuctional

google search "cpuz". Download the small app and run it. It gives comprehensive information on your memory, processor, bios etc. and it's free.

press START
then locate the RUN from the dialogue box.
type "dxdiag"
press enter..
