In most jurisdictions, you can still get out of a double-dog dare following certain procedures. Nothing anywhere, though, releases the daree from performing once a triple-dog has been made public knowledge. Nothing. Loss of reputation after backing down from something like that would mean the coward's whole bloodline must break up into groups of no more than two or three, change their names, then migrate abroad -- or suffer shunning by the community for generations. As is right.
