Teaching is a full time job also, and you work form about 7 or 7:30 to between 4 and 5:30 not sure if this is what you are looking for. I have two girls one is 8 yrs the other is 6 months and I also watch my sister 2 girls one 4 yrs one 2 1/2 months right now. I work from home and love it. I can decide when I work, with whom I work, and by these things control how much I make. I also went to college, for teaching, but found that nothing else provided me with the time I wanted with my children, or the time to be there for my family. I am the go to person, when someone need something the first one they call is me, now I can control everything in my life and have the time I need for everything and everyone. This is the best decision I have made, I did do an abundance of research before I jumped in although. If you think you may be interested in taking control just email me and I will give you info that required no commitment or personal info. Hope you get home with that baby soon.

I teach skin care with Mary Kay and I love it. It is different from most direct sales that you are sitting down with a small group of women teaching about skincare and make-up application. I get paid for hanging out with girlfriends what could be better. I didn't even wear make-up before Mary Kay. I feel in love with the skin care and stated selling part time while I worked full time for a fortune 500 company with in a year I was able to quite my full time job to be home with my children. I love the freedom and flexibility. The best part is all the friendships I have made. It's nice to have adult interaction when you are home all day. I do most of my appointments out of my home and love the play dates my daughter has made so many new friend through my business too. Even if it not something you think you would do I always tell people get the facts my only regret is that i didn't do that sooner. email me if you want more information. Good Luck and congratulations on the baby there is nothing more rewarding !I worked outside the home with my first and I am really enjoying being home with the second!

Become a business consultant. Work in your own hours. It depends on what kind of expertise you have. MBA in finance, management, HR, IT management, etc. You can start your own consulting business or join other firms.
