a) x - y = 5 is linear equation
y = x - 5
m = 1
x = 0, y = -5
y = 0, x = 5
so, the graph x-y=5 is straight line with slope 1, intercept x axis at (5,0) and intercept y axis at (0,-5).

b) y = 2x - 3 is linear equation
m = 2
x = 0, y = -3
y = 0, x = 3/2
so, the graph y=2x-3 is straight line with slope 2, intercept x axis at (3/2,0) and intercept y axis at (0,-3).
