I agree with Griffon...it is a VOLUNTEER Army!! Welcome to America!! And guess who makes up the majority of the troops? Republicans!!! Specifically Southern, middle class families have more relatives in the Armed Forces than any other group of Americans, but all that means is that you are wrong. Any person can chose to enter the Forces or to NOT enter. My husband was in, my father went in (volunteered) for Nam, and both of my Grandfathers fought during WWII. Get over yourself and your childishness. Just because you do not like Republicans for whatever reason doesn't mean you have the right to criticise people and/or things you obviously know nothing about.

So you are not a police officer because you don't support fighting crime? You are not a fire fighter because you don't support fighting fires? You are not a doctor because you don't support fighting disease? How do you walk the walk? Because you can stand on your soapbox and whine and yell?
I am not fighting in the war because I chose a different career for myself. That is the whole idea of a volunteer army...freedom to choose to join, or the freedom to choose not to join. Grow up. What do you gain out of starting stupid pointless arguments just for the sake of arguing?

How do the traitorous liberal democrats that started Viet-Nam, sent 50,000 troops to die when they would not allow them to win...And then cut off funding and left them out to dry Live With Their Shame!
