smc barricade 7404brb no adsl connection?

Question

all cables are plugged in right, the router communicates with the computer but and the adsl led is lit... I also tested the adsl cable by putting it straight in the computer and that works but when I go to the adsl status in the set-up menu it says it's 'disconnected'. what can i do?

Use the troubleshooter to troubleshoot it,check your firewall setting,make sure you install all the required software
