Guppies If you are looking for color get them. Stick with male or female. Sticking then together in a 1/2 gallon tank will be a mistake. LOL

in a 1/2 gallon tank ONE of either a male guppy or female betta. any more would be overcrowded and bad on the fish.

no fish should be kept in a 1/2 gallon tank, cause one you add hiding spots, a filter and heater, there wont be any room left.
Get some shrimp instead

get the guppies
guppies will breed and youll get baby fish and stuff like that
personally guppies are also mush more friendly with other fish than betas so if one of your guppies died you could get some otheer friendly fish

I like guppies, personally. Good easy fish and many are very pretty.
