perfume and my scent?

Question

as each persons body makeup is different (sweat, hormons, skintype and such), the perfume I lOVE on my friend smells like not as amazing on me.
I want to smell Goooooooood. when I try perfumes I get confused. besides chanel 5, what are classics that will work for sure?
why isn't there one that smells like coffee?
how did you choose your perfume and why?

There are lots of really light perfumes out that you can test at the major dept stores. However, and I think this is what you are saying, even those can be too strong for some ppl. I would suggest checking out some of the fragrances at say, Bath and Body Works. Smells like in those dont overload the senses. And you may want to just use the lotions-that may be enough for you. Just go in and check out a few that sound good to you. Another good, clean scent is from Victoria's Secret called Lovespell; get the body spray not the perfume. It is the best. Everybody can smell it on you and it is so clean and fresh smelling and you wont smell it. I would recommend those 2 places first. Good Luck!!

The scent of each person has a perfume match. Chanel 5 you mentioned doesn't smell that good to me as it does to a friend of mine. you can try going to a shop where you can find many perfumes and try something you like. You have to see how they smell at first place so don't smell more than 5 at a time cause your nose will get confused. If you like coffee scent try Body Shop- if you can have access to any cause they had a men's series perfume that had coffee in! As for choosing my own perfume after getting tones of them, i found what i like and now i use Body Shop's Oceanus for everyday and fun mood and if i want something richer than that i have Donna Karan's Cashmere Mist!
Good luck and be patient. You'll find the one! And don't forget that if something doesn't smell the same to you as it does on someone else, doesn't mean it's not good for you; after all that's what will make it unique.

The classics don't work on everybody, nothing works on everyone! My husband likes White Diamonds, which I think smells quite foul on me.
Pay attention to your natural scent and find something that compliments it. I like to go to a natural oils store and find the scents that attract me most, then shop for perfumes based on those scents. The scents that you like will be the ones that smell best on you.
I rather like the vanilla based scents, but find that musky scents suit me best. You might find that flower or citrus scents work better on you.

And who says there isn't one that smells like coffee? Bet you can find one out there somewhere. ......

actually my perfume is fantasy by britney pears and i knw she's looney right now but it smells great on me an thats one of the only perfume's that smells the same on meas it does when u spray it in theair...and alot of guys walk past me and are like wow u smell so good...i love it...it has a strong scent that does not fade much...it smells like hot cotton candy and fruit...try fantasy...

Well, I found the absolutly perfect perfume for me, it's called sparkle or something. As for picking the perfect perfume, make sure YOU absolutley love it . Go shopping, and whatever smells good to you, get it.

My perfume is called romance by ralph lauren and yes it is pricy but well worth it . good luck . find most of the higher end perfumes are way better !!!!

perfumes are helpful for me, specially on hectic days where i don't have time to talk a bath.

for me, any perfume that doesnt irritate my smell will do.
