The better question is, "To what extent are you willing to compromise." We all change, so therefore a marriage is a constantly evolving thing.

If you are asking, "What are you looking for in a potential partner?", then that is a different question. Unfortunately, spouses are not made to order. You have to take the whole package, for better or worse, for richer or poorer, in sickness and in health....

Well I would think that you would get to know someone really well before you get married. So before the marriage I guess I could overlook if he wasnt a virgin.Didnt have a big degree.Didnt make more money than me.Wasnt a raving beauty. And he cant help if his parents arent perfect,as long as he didnt let them interfere with our marriage!

Being only willing to compromise once is a bit too rigid for me. I don't judge mates by a list of qualities, I judge by my heart first, and my head last.

But anyway, here's my priority of what you listed. Bottom is least important...

education - can always be earned after marriage
money - it's nice to be comfortable, but after that it's bunk
beauty - is an opinion
humour - is needed to survive
living together at all times - can be sacrificed for education or career purposes
good in-laws - can be left
personality - makes up who your spouse is
health of partner - is not a guarentee
virginity - is completely meaningless

well ....it really depends on lots of things...but not really willing to compromise on personality, humor or health.....but sometimes health does change and not much you can do about that......unless of course partner is willfully ruining their health
