For the most part it seems you like guitar driven music where the bass usually follows the guitar. I'm have a hard time thinking of any metal or punk bands where the bass dominates. The following are classic bass lines, IMO...

I always liked the bass in GNR's Sweet Child of Mine. But going way way back, check out Blue Cheer's cover of Summertime Blues. Then of course there's the bassists favorite, the Barney Miller theme.

Two songs by the Beatles..."Something" and "Here Comes The Sun." I have a theory about this. Paul KNEW that these would be two HUGE hits, with George as the star. Paul, being someone who has trouble sharing the limelight, and also being enormously talented, provided a marvelous bass line. It is brilliant.
