Unfortunately because it is not looking to follow the mantra DO NO HARM it puts the doctors in a position of poisoning (literally) to help us. (chemo, aspirin, Motrin are just a few examples).

conventional medicine is the prescription of allopathic drugs, surgery, chemotherapy and radiation.
Non conventional medicine would be the use of herbs, Reiki, Huna, Traditional Chinese Medicine (the use pf herbs, exercize, and accupuncture.), NLP and others.
Drbony said that accupuncture has been around for 5000 years. That is not so, Traditional Chinese Medicine HAS been around for 5000 years; but accupuncture has only been around for 500-600 years. Before then; they simply did not have the technology to make accupuncture needles, and it took a long time to fully map the 705 accupuncture points on the human body.

You might consider changing to traditional medicine and modern medicine. You will find a lot more information on those two. Traditional medicine uses herbs, modern medicine used drugs that chemically copy herbs.

conventional medicine or allopathy is only about 3 hundred years old. acupuncture is 5000 years old. you will need to do research on various therapies on the net, and then use the information sensibly. depends how many words you need for the essay.

Better you engage a freelancer and pay for it. Or see the various articles online and cut-paste them into something of your own.
