Apollon is the correct name:

-twin brother of Artemis, was the god of light, god of sun, but also god of music, poetry and fine arts, god of cure and god of prophecy. Despite his magnificent beauty, something that made him a beloved subject for painters and sculptors, he was not very lucky when it came to love

Appearance: A young man with curly golden hair.

Symbol or Attribute: The Sun itself, the lyre (a type of musical instrument), the bow, and the chariot he drives across the sky daily.

Strengths: Creative, handsome, supportive of all the arts of civilization.

Weaknesses: Like his father Zeus, Apollo is all too happy to emjoy the charms of nymphs (as well as the occasional youth,) and his conquests number in the dozens.

Birthplace: On the sunny Greek island of Delos, where he was born along with his twin sister, Artemis. Another tradition gives the islands of Lato, now called Paximadia, off the southern coast of Crete.

Spouse: Apollo had many encounters, but no marriages. Flings with Cassandra, to whom he gave the gift of prophecy; Daphne, who fled from his embrace and turned into a laurel tree; and Calliope, with whom he had a child, Orpheus.

Children: The enchanting semi-divine singer Orpheus and Asklepios, god of healing, are the most famous of Apollo's offspring.

Apollo was associated with law, philosophy, and the arts. He sometimes gave the gift of prophecy to mortals whom he loved, such as the Trojan princess Cassandra.

He is considered the ideal of manly beauty, so that a very handsome man might be called an “Apollo”.

The arrows of Apollo and Artemis invariably killed and the Greeks explained epidemics of diseases by supposing that they were shooting their arrows at people; and so, by praying to Apollo, the epidemic might be made to stop. In this way, Apollo became associated with the cure of diseases.
He was a mortal medical healer who was so successful that he was reputed to have the ability to bring the dead back to life; which resulted in complaints by Hades. As a result, to keep peace in the godly family, Zeus killed him with a thunderbolt.
Apollo became significant among the Romans when Augustus Caesar, as a young man, chose Apollo as his own god.

Apollo was the great Olympian god of prophecy and oracles, healing, plague and disease, music, song and poetry, archery, and the protection of the young. He was depicted as a handsome, beardless youth with long hair and various attributes including: a wreath and branch of laurel; bow and quiver; raven; and lyre.

That's the short answer.

There was interaction between people of ancient Greece and
Telugu people. You can see the phonetic similarity between
related words:

Apollo was Sun god connected with music, archery, and
the constitutions of towns. His name is cognate with
Vella (whiteness, white light) in Telugu and the god of
white light is the Sun. Apollo was also called god of
agriculture; Polav (agricultural land) in Telugu is
cognate with Apollo. We know that agriculture is
dependant on the white light of the Sun. The Telugu words
Villu (bow), Palle (village), Pillanagrovi (flute)
are cognate with Apollo.
