Sometimes they help solve them-rarely do they cause them for I shut them tight when I think I might see trouble

My eyes help, depending on the problem, just like some problems are helped by my EARS. =)

Right now they cause problems however, I am getting lasik surgery in 3.5 months and can't wait! Hopefully they won't f^ck up and leave me blind.

No but I've often said, "Let me put my glasses on so I can hear you".
(You'd be surprised how often that goes right over people's heads)
