There are a lot of options for Disney's tickets. You have a base pass, which allows you to go to one park each day. If you like, you can leave and go back to the same park, but you cannot go to another park. Then, you have the hopper option, this would allow you to go to more than one park each day. If you start at Animal Kingdom and finish early, this would allow you to go to EPCOT or Magic Kingdom. The hopper is only good for you want to have the ability to go to several parks. If you only have a one day pass, it can make it pretty expensive and you won't get to see much with your time. Going between parks does take quite a bit of time, so if you are limited on time, then the hopper may not be a good idea for you either. You also have the water park and more option. This will give you a certain amount of visits (based on the length of your pass) to get into the waterparks, Disney Quest, Wide World of Sports and Pleasure island. It is a really good deal, especially since it costs less than 2 visits to the water parks or DisneQuest. So, if you plan to go there, it is definitely worth checking out.

Now, for prices. I'm not sure what you are wanting as far as days, who will be going, etc. So, I will just give you a break down. Adults are anyone age 10 and up and children are 9 and under. Children 2 and under are free.

1 Day Base Ticket: Adult $71.36 Child $59.64

2 Day Base Ticket: Adult $140.58 Child $117.15

3 Day Base Ticket: Adult $204.48 Child $170.40

4 Day Base Ticket: Adult $215.13 Child $178.92

As you can see, the longer your pass, the more the price averages down for each day. If you get the longest ticket, it will only cost around $30 a day.

The hopping costs $47.93 per ticket.

The waterpark option costs $53.25 per ticket.

There is also the option for no-expiration. But, this is only if you don't plan to use all your ticket days and want to save them for a future trip. If you plan to do this, you are better of getting the longest pass so that you can get the lowest cost per day.

As far as time. One day is not enough to see everything. 7 to 14 days is the absolute shortest amount of time it would take to see most of Disney. There is a ton to see, 4 parks, 2 waterparks, Downtown Disney, DisneyQuest, and so much more. You would be able to see most of one park in a day (depending on when you will be going and the crowds) but even one park can take more than one day.

Have a great time!

It's already that time of year again — time for the annual Walt Disney World theme park ticket price increase.

According to the Orlando Sentinel, Disney World will raise its one-day, one-park ticket prices by $4, taking the price of a one-day ticket to the Magic Kingdom to $99, with a day at Epcot, Disney's Hollywood Studios or Disney's Animal Kingdom rising to $94.

If you only have a day, I recommend you purchase a 1 day park hopper pass (which is about $112 with tax per person). And hop to all 4 parks in one day. Granted, you won't see everything (I lived and worked there for a year and still didn't see everything), but it will be the best way to spend your day and it can be done! I've done it many many times.

You'll want to check and see which park opens an hour early for resort guests the day you wish to visit. Avoid visiting that park first off. To check this, visit http://www.disneyworld.com click on "Calendar" and then look at Extra Magic Hours for the day you wish to visit. If it says the Magic Kingdom is allowed early admittance for resort guests, start off at any of the other 3 parks and end up at the MK later in the day.
If you're interested in doing this, feel free to email me. I can provide a list of attractions and shows that are not to be missed in your 1 day park hopper day!

That may seem like next to nothing, but at the time, both Disney World and Disneyland in California sold books of tickets guests needed to get on rides. Each attraction was rated A–E. An A-ticket would get you a ride on Cinderella's Golden Carousel, while the most popular attractions, like Space Mountain and the Haunted Mansion, were E-ticket rides

You'll find all prices here:

But, I don't know if that website is still accurate or not. Otherwise, you should search at Yahoo or Google.
