Leave washing powder (and water) in the bath over night!! Make sure you fill it to the top though else you'll get a tide mark, or rather a noticable line between clean and dirty!!! Rinse it well and stand back and admire your new bath!!!

Before you use a harsh cleanser try using a mild soap like dish washing liquid with bleach additive and sponge, if this doesn't work then tried using an electric tooth brush with liquid, I've tried this and it works. Then spray all surfaces with Lysol Disinfectant-as the can says removes 99% of germs.

Mix some bicarbonate of soda with vinegar into a paste, rub around the bath, leave for a few mins then rinse.

I put a good cleaning cream (CIF) on the bath and leave it overnight, washing off the next day should give you a nice clean bath.

by far the best is with a steam cleaner, also good for hard to reach places round loo!! I bought one for under £40 a few months ago and dont know how i managed without one. No hard work involved and results are amazing!!!

Lemon and salt rubbed on the chrome fittings will make them gleam.Bleach on the main bath will bring it up bright white.

Oven Off- heard it on Rachael Ray and it actually works great!!!! Spray it on, leave it for about 30 minutes, sponge the tub, rinse and bingo bango it looks wonderful! No SCRUBBING!!!

Vim (even though it is an abrasive blah blah. Because it even gets grease off round the tide-mark.

Just use one sponge scouring pad, some Cif and plenty of elbow grease!
