Sometimes it's good to have a large purse as you never know when you'll need something. I was at a religious event one time (assembly) and one of my friend's sisters who has large boobs popped one of the buttons in her dress. She didn't know what to do so I asked my mom if she had a safety pin. Even better. She had a needle and thread, and in a matching color!
If you'd rather cut it down in size, take the time to go through it and decide what you really need, use most often and what's just in there because you want it to be in there. Also, shop around for a purse that helps you organize everything with various compartments and invest (if you don't have one already) in a little pouch for personal toiletries and makeup.
Mine is actually quite small. I knitted it and it's about 5x7" and 1.5" wide. All I have in it is a small little pouch I knitted that has a flat lint brush, some old mascara and eye pencil, a pen, small bottle of foundation, and then there's my wallet, chapstick and a knife. I used to have a messenger bag that I loved but it was getting holes.

Nope... I deliberatly got mine smaller than i would need so i wouldn;t take as much stuff you should try it as well... you get use to it after a wjile and then you realise all you really need is your keys and your wallet... you dont really need all that make up and perfume tissues and creams all those recipts and glasses. where them or keep it in the glove box.. I just hate trying to find something in my purse & have to dig, dig, dig ! My friend when she goes to the mall for a power shopping spree carries a small pouch just enough for what she needs to $$ & leaves her "car purse" in her trunk.

I dont hate it but I dont really like it.Its SOOOOOOO damn small and I cant fit anything in it except my wallet and a pen.ITS CRAZY!!!
