ive been playing literati for a couple of years but now its saying i have the old version and need to clear my browser cache i followed instructions but still cant get to play same notice keeps coming up it also said i need to make sure my java is enabled how do i do this ? help

a glich they are working on dont know when it will be fixed i had same thing after taking all day trying to figure out nad deleting and system restore and doing what yahoo said still NO fix so today they email me back said the problem is on thier end go figure

Hi
You can remove literati and install it again, to do this firstly go to :
1. start > run > msconfig ( type this word and press enter)
2. in services disable any literati services and also in startup tab, anything with containing the word: literati.
3. exit the window, will prompt you to restart, restart now.
4. go to : http://www.java.com/en/index.jsp
download java, will check your system if you already have java etc, and update th version if you need it, or provide an update.
5. navigate > start > run > rgedit ( type this) , then press enter,
contract the menu on the left, and highlight my computer, and press f3, and enter literati, and start deleting each instance of teh word you find, press f3 to go the next instance, simple!
6. exit the screen.
5. Install literati and you should be all fine.
if any problems then mail me.

I have had the same problem and I have also sent an email to yahoo. I can't remember where I found it, but it was a site that you could email yahoo about bugs in the games. I haven't heard back from anyone yet but they must be aware of the situation. If I hear back I will let you know. I hope it doesn't take too much longer because if you are like me, I am a true lit addict and can't take much more!!! lol

up in browser hit tools then internet options
you want to delete cookies and delete files
after thats done try going into the security tab and changing settings to medium see if that works.
your anti virus program could be disallowing java as well.

Dear Tammy! This is exactly my question also. I wrote to Yahoo, but NO ANSWER as yet. I cleaned cache, history, defragmented, did EVERYTHING, even reset computer to a previous date, but it still says I have the old version. Will you please be in touch if you find a solution? the last thing you got in your answers are wrong yahoo got back to me and said they are having tech problem and they are working on it they don't know when it will be up again but they assured me that it is not our computers if you ask me someone sent them a glitch and they are having a hard time finding it.
