I know I have to remove it because it's a nasty bugger and all that. But I can't get rid of it until Monday, and this is Saturday. Does anyone think I'm doing any damage to my computer by waiting? Also, can I check on my bank accounts with this thing sitting there?

the 3 steps should get the nasty infection out of the way or the hijackthis guys will

(1) If you have not already scanned your comp with spybot do that now .Update it and then run it so it gets rid of all the spyware and trojans in safe mode
(2) Do an online virus scan to check if you still have any other viruses in your computer. And let us know if the online virus scan still finds any virus or spyware .
(3) Get you self a good antivirus or a free one if your present anti virus is not protecting you .

trojan type of virus programs are able to install keyloggers remotely which store the usernames and passwords of the user on the computer and then mail them autoatically to the hacker. It is risky to use a computer which is infected by trojans to use for banking purpose

While your computer's swithed off it won't do any damage.
If you want to get rid of the trojan, go to http://www.mbusbyuk.info/links.html and scroll down to the free online scanners. Pick up the link for Panda ActiveScan and do a full system scan.
Good Luck!
