It is a great country, but in the schools all Americans are taught is how great it is. They very rarely step outside the circle and look at other nations. If they did, they would realise their country is not that great. For starters, the government does not look after its people. Any government whose country does not look after them will ultimately turn to crime and self destruction. If America is such a rich country, why don't they help those less fortunate. I think America should turn to Australia more for guidance instead of Australia turning to America to see how things are done. America is a rich country but it lies in how wealthy it is. It is also very sad, people are begging on the streets living in cardboard boxes and people are dying and cannot afford to go to the doctor. Americans are brainwashed into thinking their country is the greatest on Earth, in a sense it is, as in the most powerful and influential nation. However, if America stepped outside the square they lived in, they would see wealth and greed are not the benchmarks for a truly safe and prosperous society. People are dying and suffering becuause of the financial greed of the nation.

Becuase americans seem to be arrogant and very ignorant of the rest of the world. America thinks it is so wonderful and the rest of the world know that it isn't. and as for freedom you know that over 90% of americas telephones are tapped by the US goverment (this is not a conspiracy it is fact), how can you say america is the freeist country in the world, you say your so rich but you have a balance of payments deficite of over $800 billion, you say your army is fantastic but you've olny ever won one war without forign help and the modern american army has not been tested against another modern army. you say your culture is so good and yet more people die from being shot in america than the rest of the developed world combined, obesisity is a bigger problem in america than anywhere else.
