If she has been proven to have committed a crime by what happened, of course she should. Celebrities are not above the law.

She is accusing the different driving force, Mallory Ham, of negligence. Ham filed an identical costs against Brandy on Friday, the place she claimed Brandy became into using in a "recklessly wantonly, unlawfully, and maliciously" way. I anticipate the lawsuit Brandy filed to be thrown out or a minimum of the courts will snort in her face because of the fact the police themselves say she became into the single at fault (she became into using sixty 5 miles in line with hour and did no longer decelerate whilst the site visitors outfitted up). From the source: "Brandy and Ham are the two dealing with civil courtroom circumstances for reckless using from Aboudihaj's kinfolk, mutually as the sufferer's dad and mom and a pair of babies have additionally sued Brandy. If convicted, Brandy faces a achievable 365 days in penal complex and a $a million,000 high-quality."

Oh, yes. I think all celebrities deserve honest-to-heart respect and good wishes, but I just think it was so tragic of the accident. Brandy's crime should be investigated further so they can fully get what they want, but she deserves some jail time. To send out condolences to the dead's family? That's all she did, she apologized and sent good wishes. If I were her, I'd honestly do all I could to make them forgive me, and go to jail for as long as they asked. She's a celebrity, not super woman, she still needs jail to improve her self control. She needs jail, she does, she's a drunk, unwanted, crazy human being, and even worse (well, almost) than Paris Hilton.

I think Brandy or any other celebrity should be treated the same way I'd be treated if I were responsible for killing someone in an accident. Just seems like some of them get off with a slap or community service. They're no better than anyone else.

No, it was an accident. These things happen. Now if she had done a hit and run, my opinion would be different. Yes, celebrities should go to jail and pay for what they do, and there are several that have if they get caught.

I feel like they are going after her for the money becuz she is a celeb...it's not fair...we live in a greedy money obessed society...she should pay a reasonable fine and pay the family some money for their loss..but a million or so..too much...they are going to break her..she's got a daughter..her career has'nt been doing too well ...her last two albums flopped....and Ray J is her brother...has'nt she suffered enough...poor baby...she had a bad day and she may not be the best driver...yes, people died but money won't bring them back...neither will her bankruptcy.

Sued? maybe.
Jailed? If guilty, definitely. Why is it that if you can sing, dance, act and know how to promote yourself, the law of the land does not apply to you?
If a "regular" hardworking, taxpaying citizen gets stoned and drunk and then gets behind the wheel and kills someone, they would find themselves in prison for a long time.
Why do Americans believe that celebrities should be given legal breaks that the rest of us are not entitled to?
They are not special, they are not royalty and they sure as heck should not be above the law.
The priorities in this country are totally screwed up.

What the F. We pay all of this money into insurance companies and for what....hello, accidents. So why is the man once again doing the old soft shoe while their customer takes a heat round. Deal with the insurance company, get your 500k settlement and leave that lil ole girl alone.
