I need to drain down the system to replace a couple of radiator valves.
There are 5 radiators in ther system, and I would like to know how much antifreeze to put in when I refill.
Can anyone help please?

working in the caravan industry myself i would go to local merchants and purchase sentinel anti freeze from memory its supplied in either 1 litre or 5 litre containers a single one litre carton usually provides treatment for approximately a three bedroomed home with approx 10 radiators on the circuit one carton should be sufficient for your needs.
i would fill up the heating first without anti freeze to check for leaks etc so as to not waste any of the anti freeze. the treatment can usually be introduced through the top of the radiator by removing the airing poin

hope this helps

regards

steve

most static caravan parks have the services of site maintenance professionals. they know enough of the various trades to do everything from replacing a broken window to fitting a new floor. ask the site manager to send for the maintenance man to do it for you. if he/she is on a tender you'll only pay minimum as its included in your ground rent. caravan parks are full of people like your good self, workers wanting to get away from it all at the weekend. theres bound to be a plumber on site who'd do it for a pint. but remember your services could be called upon, a quote of a pint can mean the world of difference.

I think you really need a professional to answer your question.
If not here then is there no one on site to ask?

I only ever put anti-freeze down sinks and the toilet in my caravan as I did not have central heating.
