It means it is time to replace your hydrallic filter. And your hydrallic oil. The light comes on due to the filter starting to get plugged. Which also means that your hyd oil is contaminated with something. If you continue to use your skidsteer with this light on, could end up being more costly to fix.

Some hydraulic pumps have a guage that measures the "charge pressure" & another guage that measures vacuum on the suction side of the pump. Both of these are independant of the actual system pressure generated by the pump.

It means that you don't have enough pressure going to the pump change hydraulic filter and you should be ok.Also don't use the cheap hydraulic oil .

hydrolic fluid needs changed it breaks down like motor oil gets thin and starts wearing bearings and seals and expensive pumps.....

It could be that it's letting you know that your hydrolic fluid is due for a change.
