Chaos Theory

is associated with situations that are unpredictable. Anyone that is labled to be unpredictable cannot use the chaos theory to his advantage. Their creditability is at stake. When they makes statements, you wonder about their veracity.

Well, I never got very far into reading the chaos theory, but as far as I understood it, there is no such thing as random, and there is a system behind EVERYTHING, even for example patterns that emerge from traffic jams and so on.

I think this is a tough theory to use to your advantage since its really heavy, hardcore stuff. But, as an architecture student, I can tell you that everything is about systems for us, and it could probably prove useful to me one day.

Art can 'use' the chaos theory. Accidental effect is one of an artist's greatest allies. The unexpected, the seemingly random, the right discord, when it rears its head or sounds, must be siezed.

But as the other guy says... all random things are really long foretold and fairly predictable. If it has happened, it will happen again.

Chaos theory increased our understanding of many physical phenomena from why Jupiter's rings are twisted to the time interval between drops from a leaky faucet. The application to biological systems has lead to a experimental heart defibrillator.

Yes, I've had one or two thoughts on that subject.

But using it somehow to ones advantage is a bit like trying to use Heisenberg to beat the roulette wheel. Just by asking the question you imply your inability to understand the answer.
