Assuming you just started having sex for the first time recently, then there's absolutely nothing wrong with you. Alot of women are very tight down there after losing their virginity, and that's perfectly normal. The most important this that you need to use lube (non-petroleum based), and you have to relax, really relax. The lube with help things go smoother, and when you relax, your muscles in your vagina loosen. If you're tense, then everything tightens up. Most girls tell him to keep going even though they're tense, and that's where the pain and bleeding comes from. Just take your time, make sure that you're really comfortable with the guy, and relax. It will get better, I promise, and it certainly won't always be like this!
If you've been having sex for a long time now, and this is a new problem, all I can suggest is seeing your doctor. Unless you're with a new partner who is significantly bigger than your last, in which case see my advise in the paragraph above! :)
Good luck!

It is likely that you are not moist enough when you start. Either because you are not properly aroused or some other reason. You can buy over the counter sterile lubricants to use before you start having sex to help with this.

If you are a woman and are having this problem for some time it looks like you are suffering from dyspareunia: not enough vaginal lubrication due to hormonal imbalance. See your endocrinologist now.

if you are a woman, you have to hurry up, it happens to me, and i had to go for a collposcopy, it means that I had a very common virus, that eventually give you ovarian cancer, I can't not remember the other name for it but please go for a checkup.
